Contract Manufacturing

Versatech offers a wide variety of packaging and assembly services, from straight forward to complex, from simple to intricate.  We provide shrink packaging, blister packaging and polybagging.  Our ink-jet coder and conveying system can print expiry dates and other information on packages as required.  Some of our existing clients include Atlas Graham, Coghlan’s and Boeing Canada.

Document Shredding

Our secure, government-inspected shredding facility provides 0.25 and 0.50 inch shredding off-site at our Plymouth location.  Our equipment can produce 1200 lbs per hour.  It includes a Selco baler, two high-volume Allegheny document shredders, a high-volume Intimus shredder, an in-plant government-inspected scale and a variety of material-handling equipment. Our facility has surveillance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with cameras located both inside and outside the department.  All employees working in document destruction are government security cleared. Papers can be delivered to our site or picked up in a locked security cleared truck.  Our staff will assist customers to unload documents.  All customers are able to witness their documents being shredded at our secure facility escorted by the department manager.  All customers receive a certificate of destruction.  All our shredded paper is recycled.

Recycling

Versatech operates a high-volume recycling facility for newspaper, magazines and clay-coated flyers, corrugated cardboard, boxboard and various grades of office paper waste.  In addition, Versatech accepts donations of aluminum and scrap metal. Our equipment includes a computer-assisted Macpresse baling and conveying system.

Other Services

Versatech also offers public scaling of trucks (large and small), providing weight tickets to our customers, as well as short-term warehousing on a fee-for-service basis.
